I'm picking up my new 99 XJ tomorrow, and the only thing it needs is new brake rotors. I seem to remember reading several times that it was a transition year, and that they were switched mid-year.
Anyone know if that's correct or not? Also, where would be a good place to spend the least amount of money on them?

Auto Zone, O-Reilly's, Advance Auto, all those box stores. My 99 TJ, I could chose form 15 dollar brakes to 50 dollar brakes. You can order online and most of the time get the shipping free. I imagine the same goes for rotors. I would check with your local shops to see of they have a brake lathe. They may be able to straighten them out and save you a few bones.
