I am wondering if anyone knows if parts from a Dana 44 6 bolt chevy will work on a Ford Dana 44 bolt. I at least need one of the outer shafts. One of mine is questionable and want to replace it before next month.

The stub shafts could work...it just depends on the style of lockouts. I don't think the inners will work though. Whats questionable about it?

Back in the Day For and Chevy used the same lockout if you ordered Warns or Milemarkers it was the same part number for either Ford or Chevy. Could very well be the same.

The lockouts are the same so I will proububly tear down the axels for the parts. I just didnt want to spend the time busting the spindels apart for nothing.
