I know for most of us this goes without saying, but it was mentioned so I thought I would pop in and express my very strong feelings about this issue. Keep it legal.

I guess that was ther main reason for starting this thing, to find more legal places to play. They are few and far between wich has led a lot of people to stray into private land and given the sport a bad name.

While we are on that type of subject, another point would be to take your shit home with you. If you take it in, take it back out with you. Pick up your trash.

Couldn't agree more. The one thing I hate is when my wife and I go for rides after work and the park ranger will follow you around the entire park like your a criminal. Unfortunately a few have ruined it for the rest....

I would add that it is helpful to have an axe and a shovel. Been over centered and stuck digging and cutting tree roots before. I was glad I had them, until at least when I missed the root and chopped a clean hole in my old Nissan pathfinder's rocker! A battle scar from then on! Also and old "come-along" is cool and can be handy in a lot of ways.
