Found this site today. Might help some of you out on upgradeing tires. I haven't used them but plan to buy some tires this summer for the tow rig from them. www.treadwright.com

i ran two sets of tires from treadwright. the first set was 31" mud tires that did just fine for me. i had read posts from people saying the tread will separate but don't think i ever saw anybody that had one come apart. i put around 20,000 miles on them, which i was pleased with. i aired them down as low as 15# on the trails and they held up well. i replaced them with a set of their AT tires and only put about 5,000 miles on them before the wife tricked me into selling the XJ.
the pricing seems to be a bit higher than they were 4-5 years ago, though. i looked at them when i was getting tires for my ZJ. although they are reasonable with shipping prices, when i factored in what it was going to cost to get them mounted locally, it wasnt too much more to buy the new Wild Country tires i ended up with.
