Well, I said I'd post up pics of the body armor work I did this weekend. I hope to do a writeup, but I'm struggling since it was so darn simple. Not a lot of point if all you have to do is follow the directions given, except for a few lessons learned. Anyway...here's before and after. I still have to do the 3" flares.

Price tag was under $500 shipped to my door from 4wd.com. They had a wicked sale 15% initial plus another 10% for JOCCI Club discount (they didn't actually apply it, just basically said I had one and the guys said, "I can do better than that"). As I said, I still have 3" flares to add on to the corner guards.

The whole thing with the ones from KC fell thru, but this was only $50 more for laser cut fitted guards. Looking back, it would have been a PITA to identify, mark, cut and drill all of the holes associated with the rear lights, gas tank, and such - certainly more than $50 of my time. The only thing I think I'm going to have to do is trim the wheel wells. I was already rubbing and thought they would be more open. Instead, they're the exact opening. Fortunately, the flares are cut for a TJ which seems to have a MUCH bigger wheel opening. So I think for now, I'm going to lay out and attach the TJ flares, then when summer rolls around, I'll put her under the knife when I can properly re-seal everything to prevent rust. It sounds like Newbeme has the experience with Al's bed liner to get what I want to seal things up.

Finally, pics of the underside of the sliders. Yes they wrap underneath and pick up one of the body mount bolts. Image
