Fuel injection is nice at steep angles Tuning a q-jet is a veryfine art but tuned right they do work ok. and yes GM parts do allow me to play harder.

With my Qjet I had a vacuum leak where the shaft went through the carb body. It was just easier to replace it.

I'm not really that biased I'm willing to bolt on anything that free. My jeep is financially motivated or maybe the lack of and so far its working good.

Nothing wrong with that. Jeep did it on the assembly line back in the day. They did it bad enough that with my CJ5 I had to have a part number every time I went to the parts store.

I think the Jeep designers must of been on crack until the 90's! They were stealing parts from every major auto manufacturer for a long time. Hilarious!
Eventually I want to put a 6.0 vortec in this thing, but they aren't giving those things away. Fuel injection would be nice, but, most of the time I don't need it. I keep telling myself when this engine blows up then I'm finding something with TPI.

Unlikely to go V8 but If I would it would be a 5.0 mustang most likely from the late 80's, great motor bad car and lots of them.

Even with fuel injection you still need a fire extinguisher.
